NASA Announced Space Research Opportunities
NASA may award up to $2 million this autumn to outstanding early career faculty via NASA’s Space Technology Research Opportunities program. The program seeks “unique, disruptive, or transformational” space technologies. Ten grants are expected to be awarded.
Your intention to submit is due by 30 March with proposals due 03 May.

CFD for SmartTruck fairings
- The fastest supercomputer in the country, Oak Ridge National Labs’ Jaguar, was used to run CFD computations of undercarriage fairings on 18-wheel trucks that save around 10% on fuel cost.
